I know several of you have misplaced your U.S. Political & North American Physical Maps. I've put them on here for your convenience. Make sure to print them off as soon as possible and stick them in your notebook envelope so you'll have them when they're needed. If you click "download" at the bottom of the document, you can sign into Scribd and you'll get a pretty pdf version of the document. If you still have trouble, you can e-mail me and I'll send you a copy. Don't forget that your map should already be labeled with all 50 states and capitals. Let me know if you have any questions.

HOMEWORK

Remember that there is a homework assignment this week. Students are responsible for reading Chapter 3, Section 3 and taking notes on page 42 of their interactive notebook. On page 43, students will be drawing an ecosystem. It should contain solar energy, plants, and at least three animals. Remember to use your own animals that are not featured in the book. You can either draw the pictures of the animals, or print out pictures from the internet. Either way, make sure the pictures are labeled so I can see where and how energy is being transferred in your ecosystem. I will be checking your notebooks on Friday to make sure this assignment is complete.
