Geography Links

  • Ms. Loftin's Quia Page-Slowly, but surely, I am adding my own Quia review activities and games. It will take me a while to build a collection, but it will get there someday. Keep checking back for new and exciting games.
  • Mrs. Churchill's Quia Page-This page contains several review games with information from our textbook. These are great, fun ways to study vocabulary and other material we're learning in class.
    • National Geographic Games-NatGeo has several games that teach a variety of geographical concepts.
    • Google Earth-Download the program that we've used in class. You can use it to find latitude & longitude (press CTRL+L), see your house, or just to have fun.
    • Worldometers-Find out the current population in real time. Plus, it includes other statistics like how many people were born today, how many died today, the number of Google searches, and much, much more.

    1. The first student to comment on this page (with your first name & hour) gets a piece of candy. I'm just checking to see if you're exploring the website when you visit. Did you check out any of the links?
